Words out of one's mouth.... that has rested on my heart and mind a lot. I can choose my words, but not others. And it is a powerful gift or a destructive tool. You have to stop and think... If God can speak into existance everything he created, you also have to think how powerful what our words are to others. I am a listener. Daily I am approached with inappropriate or hearing negotiveness around me. It is mentally draining. We can produce a edifying atmosphere by filling in our own blanks. For every word that another might say that is destructive, we can insert a positive one to counter act it. I pray often for God to intercede during times like those . That he puts on my heart what others need to hear. People are like the saying... Wet cement...what ever falls on it makes an impression. God can help mold that impression .

Challenging reminder for me. Recently with work I have been tempted to get into the "office gossip" which happens in just about every work place. It is a constant temptation to give into it and speak somethings about coworkers which I might not even fully believe but get sucked into the crowd mentality. God help me be an uplifter in my work place and not just go with the flow!
