This week has been pretty amazing. On Monday Eden, Zac, Amy and I went to Costco. Talk about starting the week right. We love Costco. Our better yet, we love to spend money at Costco. This had been our first big Costco trip since November. Not only that, but we took the kids to the park, watched 24 this week, and to top it all off…I have played basketball twice this week and had a lot of fun last night playing indoor soccer with my brother. Talk about another simple pleasure. I love being able to get up and down the court without feeling like I’m about ready to die!
Now this is the conversation part. Tell me about your week. Don’t be mad if you didn’t make it to Costco or to the park. How has it been?
OK, So let’s see if I can remember last week..
Monday was the Holiday so I was off from work.
I used that time to really get updated on my dusting,
Ray is doing really a great job in keeping my home
up while he’s scarce with work, but I somehow can see
things that he can not. Anyway, we had some friends
from the Peninsula outreach over for dinner that night,
we had a very good time of fellowship and getting to know
one another. Wednesday after Work, I had decided to stay in
town and not go home because I had a 6:00 pm weekly meeting
with some girls, so I had called one of them to see if she wanted to meet for dinner, she didn’t get the message til 5:30
so I ate alone and took advantage of the time and wrote up
my homework that we had for the meeting that evening.
Oh I forgot, on Saturday, Ray and I went behind the safeway foods
in Gig Harbor and went treking into the woods there
looking for some homeless folks that were known for
hanging out in there, but to no avail, no one was there.
Just lots of junk back there, I was sooo hoping
to find some people back in there. We’ll go again soon.
We went to have breakfast with Stephanie at her place.
Mark showed up and we all had a good time.
I didn’t walk this week like I had been the last 2 weeks,
I was so dicouraged, I upped my walking to 1 1/2 mile from just
the mile, but I only lost .4 oz. WHAT!?!??! I said. Go figure…
I worked at Tacoma General Hospital Thursday evening, that
is always a pleasure to do, those girls there are always fun
to work with.
Okay, other than working everyday, that was my week.
