The Unexpected King

Baby Jesus was one thing. Adult Jesus was another. It was Jesus who said a prophet is without honor only in his hometown. John 1:11 says that Jesus came to his own and his own did not accept him. Many were expecting a different kind of King. Instead of a war hero, Jesus was a servant king. Instead of an exclusive king, Israel got a king who set a big table. And instead of a safe king, they got a king who desires a relationship with humanity. Be challenged in this talk to see and be like the unexpected king.
