When we give, it is to be more than a simple transaction of currency, whether it is done in person or online. Â It is an expression of our hearts in response to the government of Christ at work in our lives. It is an act of dependency, honor, and discipline recognizing Jesus as the very source of our lives (Proverbs 3:9). Â While some may still prefer to give in person, giving online does not take from this reality. Â It is an expression of the heart. Â May we give regularly (1 Corinthians 16:2), with purpose and with cheerful hearts (2 Corinthians 9:7). Â Â
